84-89 Cluster Reassembly Top Board

Replace the top circuit board. Be sure the pins from the bottom circuit board are aligned with the holes in the bottom of the top circuit board and penetrate through the top board connector. Make sure to put the long screws back into the holes through the electrical connector. See figure 2 for more info.

Warning! Be sure to connect the two wire odometer connector to the top board.

Reconnect the odometer lead to the top circuit board.

Replace the metal back cover onto the instrument panel housing.

Install the remaining five screws which hold on the metal cover. If you have a cluster with the additional sideways screw, make sure to put the short screw back in that location.
